I wanted to actually set myself a project to practice my tablet and experiment with different Photoshop brushes to see what I could achieve with my Huion tablet. Sparklehorse is one of my favourite musicians, I feel a connection to his work and had been listening to his tracks 'Eye Pennies' and 'Apple Bed' a lot. I decided to draw him for my first project. I wanted the picture to feel sad and haunting, like his music. I'm quite happy with the finished piece, even though it looks quite graphic novel like.
